This bar + restaurant is located in the vibrant downtown of San Marcos, Texas, capturing the lively essence of "The Square." Executing an inviting + energetic atmosphere inside this historic building was the goal, the outcome came to life as an ideal destination for socializing + entertainment!
The layout includes multiple social areas for gathering, watching sports, or dancing, complemented by two bars, banquette-lined walls for comfy seating, a VIP section, a DJ booth, and intimate spaces for smaller groups.
With design features inspired by an eclectic blend of Moroccan + Mediterranean influences, our team implemented bright + saturated colors, specialty lighting, intricate patterns, and playful textures. The mix and match of ceramic + glass tiles on the main bar form a chromatic effect while the oversized, vintage-style rugs line the brick walls to create the perfect juxtaposition.
Antique brass + rustic Moorish lamps, lanterns, chandeliers, and sconces adorn the space, which allow light to filter through metal cutwork fashioning a beautiful "starry" canopy throughout. Another favorite feature lives on the walls of several spaces, whimsical wall papers, and spirited neon fixtures glowing in the background of this nightlife experience.
